It's time to RETIRE from the custom, handwoven rug business. I thank each and every one of you who has purchased (and hopefully enjoyed your rugs) during the past 29 years.
We will, however, be happy to do reweaves on any of your old rugs that have worn out WARP STRINGS because the WOOL WEFT is almost 'for sure' still in good condition. We will wash the rug, cut off all the old worn warp strings, add a bit of new wool to achieve the original size and reweave the wool weft on the loom with brand new warp. Many customers have been having this done for the past few years and have been pleasantly surprised at the finished product of a rug that 'lives' again!
